Three Bolles School Sharks swimmers have signed their National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
Max Michael is set to join Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. Michael, a butterflier and short freestyler, is looking to aid the Raiders with their standing in the Patriot League. His 50-yard free (21.95) and 100-yard free (48.22) should add some depth to their relays. His 100-yard fly, which stands at 52.73, is not too far off from scoring at Colgate’s conference championship meet. Michael also brings a 1:57.15 200-yard fly to the table.
The South Carolina Gamecocks have added Madison Pritchard to their women’s team to bolster their depth in fly and breast. Pritchard clocked a 1:05.49 100-yard breast and 2:20.96 200-yard breast, which ranks fifth in USC’s 2014-2015 top five times in each event. She races a 57.13 100-yard fly, which also ranks fifth on the Gamecocks’ list.
Anna Kassis signed her NLI to swim at Georgia Southern University. Kassis’ strengths are in the butterfly and distance free events. At the Florida State 1A Championships, she swam a 5:10.98 500-yard free that would rank just outside GSU’s top five times from 2014-2015. Her 2:09.27 200-yard fly would have been the fifth fastest time for the Eagles last season.
