Big Ten Men’s Championships, Day 1 Finals: Indiana Opens with 200 Medley Meet Record
Indiana has carved out a reputation for itself at Big Tens in the relay department, winning four of the five on offer in 2023. They started the 2024 Big Ten Championships by capturing the one that had been missing last year.
Indiana downed the meet record set in 2021 by Michigan by going 1:22.17 to win gold on the opening night at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion at Ohio State. The foursome of Brendan Burns, Finlay Brooks, Tomer Frankel and Gavin Wright solidified their A cut from earlier in the season.
It was part of an opening night sweep, the Hoosiers also taking home the 800 free.
