Bentley University Secures Fall 2022 Commitment from Caroline Ubert
NEW COMMIT: Columbus, Ohio native Caroline Ubert has committed to swim at Division II Bentley University in the fall of 2022. She joins Rachel Thilow, Lily Rice, and Brydie Olofson in the Falcons’ class of 2026.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I am proud to say that I have decided to continue my academics and swimming at Bentley University! Thank you to everyone who has supported and cheered me on throughout the years. So excited for this opportunity and the next 4 years!!”
Ubert is a senior at Upper Arlington High School and does her club swimming at the Upper Arlington Swim Club. She qualified for the OHSAA Division I State Championships as a junior, finishing 18th in the 100 butterfly with a personal best of 57.89.
Her best times in yards include:
- 50 free – 25.41
- 100 free – 55.92
- 100 fly – 57.89
- 200 fly – 2:09.17
With her best times, Ubert will immediately impact a Bentley team coming off a second-place finish at the 2022 Northeast-10 Conference Championships. Her personal bests in the 100 and 200 fly would already rank fifth and fourth in school history, and with Rona Mejiritski graduating, Ubert will be the Falcons’ top 200 flyer heading into the 2022-2023 season.
Additionally, her top times in the fly events would have won bronze, and her sprint free times would have scored in the B-final at the conference level.
