Baylor School Downs Six Pool Records Against McCallie
CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee, February 2. IN a dual meet against McCallie, The Baylor School took down six McCallie School pool records.
Sam McHugh, a future Tennessee Volunteer in his final season at Baylor, took down the 100-yard freestyle mark with a 46.44, while McHugh raced his way to a 1:40.37 in the 200-yard free.
In the 50-yard free, Lucas Kaliszak became the first swimmer to break 21 seconds at McCallie’s pool with a 20.97 for the win, while Kaliszak, Dustin Tynes, Chandler Hinson and Will Raines posted a 1:34.63 in the 200 medley relay.
Baylor also struck down the 200 free relay mark as Kaliszak, Tynes, McHugh and Christian Selby raced to a 1:25.79, before McHugh, Hinson, Raines and Selby clocked a 3:10.37 to lower the facility standard in the 400-yard free relay.
Baylor finished the meet with a 174-140 victory against cross-town rivals.
