Aussie Stars Cruise Prelim Swims on Day Four of Pan Pacific Trials
Australian swim stars Ariarne Titmus, Mack Horton, Emma McKeon, Grant Irvine and more all put together a relaxed morning session on day four of the 2018 Australian Pac Pacific Trials.
Many swimmers, however, were at or under their preliminary/semi-final times from the recent Commonwealth Games where the Aussies shook up the world rankings. A quick swim or two in tonight’s finals is not out of the question.
Men’s 200 IM MC Prelims
Day four prelims started off with the men’s multi-class 200 IM. Matthew Levy (2:37.08) narrowly out-scored Timothy Disken (2:19.35) by just two multi-class points to earn the top seed. Timothy Hodge earn the third seed in 2:20.55 while Liam Schluter swam the fastest race in 2:17.74.
