Auburn Snags 2025 Verbal From Florida 2A State Champion Brody Singley

NEW COMMIT: Junior National qualifier Brody Singley of Callahan, Florida, has elected to continue his academic and swimming career at Auburn University beginning in Fall 2025.

He told Swimming World:

“I’m beyond stoked to announce my verbal commitment to Auburn University. I’d first like to thank God for all the opportunities He has blessed me with. I’d like to thank my family for supporting me through all of this, my coaches for getting me to where I am, and to my friends for pushing me every day. I’d finally like to thank the coaches at Auburn for giving me this opportunity. War Eagle”

Primarily a distance freestyler, Singley does his club swimming with Episcopal AmberJax and placed eighth in the 800m free at Ocala Futures this past summer before racing two events at Junior Nationals. He took third in the 400m free and 1500m free at Orlando Sectionals last winter before going on to win the mile at Florida Seniors.

His best times include:

  • 200 free – 1:39.59
  • 500 free – 4:27.99
  • 1000 free – 9:13.28
  • 1650 free – 15:30.68

Currently a junior at West Nassau County, Singley won the 200 free and 500 free at the Florida 2A State Championships this past season. He placed second and third, respectively, in those events during his sophomore season, taking 11th and fourth as a freshman.
