Army West Point Secures 2024 Verbal Pledge From Hadley King
NEW COMMIT: The first public verbal commitment for the Class of 2028 on the women’s side belongs to Army West Point after Hadley King of Oologah, Oklahoma, announced her pledge to the Black Knights.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I am honored to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the United States Military Academy! I would like to thank all my family, coaches, and teammates who have helped me get this far! Thank you to the Army Swim and Dive staff for giving me this amazing opportunity!!!! #GOARMY #BEATNAVY”

Back in March, she grabbed gold in the 200 IM at Oklahoma Seniors, also claiming silver in the 50/100/200 fly.
Her best times include:
- 50 fly – 25.57
- 100 fly – 58.27
- 200 fly – 2:13.51
- 50 free – 23.95
- 100 free – 53.66
- 200 free – 1:58.71
- 200 IM – 2:11.02
King is currently a junior at Bartlesville High School, but she and her family are set to move to Thailand next month.
King is a great pickup for Army and will add valuable depth across multiple events. By the time she arrives on campus, she’ll join a training group that includes Meghan Cole, Clara Williams and Maggie Kroening, all whom scored in the fly events at the 2022 Patriot League Championships.
