The Conference office announced today that Christian Lorenz of Arizona State was named Pac-12 Men’s Swimmer of the Month and USC’s Henry Fusaro was voted Pac-12 Men’s Diver of the Month for November.

Lorenz (Avon, Ind.) earned three first-place and three second-place finishes in the month of November. At this past weekend’s Texas Invitational, the senior set not only a new ASU record, but the top time in the NCAA so far this year in the 200-yard breaststroke (1:53.54). Lorenz was also part of an NCAA “A” cut 400 medley relay team, as well as “B” cuts with the 200 medley relay team and in two individual events (100, 200 breast) at the Texas Invitational. He was one of two Sun Devil men to win multiple events versus No. 10 USC on Nov. 3 as he captured the 100- (55.53) and 200-breast (2:00.34) and swam a leg of the winning 400 medley relay (3:13:21). ASU now has five all-time monthly accolades.

Fusaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.), the 2017 Pac-12 Diving Freshman/Newcomer of the Year, recorded three first-place and four second-place finishes in the Trojans’ three meets. He took first in the 1-meter springboard (365.93 points) and second in the 3-meter (377.93) in a dual meet against ASU on Nov. 3, then finished second in the 1-meter (287.18) and 3-meter (395.48) against Arizona the following day. Fusaro finished in the top two in all three events of the Trojan Diving Invitational at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center on Nov. 12. The sophomore won the men’s 1-meter (744.25) and 3-meter (855.95) and was runner-up in the platform (569.65) behind senior teammate Dashiell Enos, the reigning Pac-12 Diver of the Year. This is USC’s 17th all-time winner in the category.
