After the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials were a success in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, the new facilities at the Paris Olympics will be other exciting places for competition.
But, while the pool at trials was temporary, the Aquatics Centre in Paris is built for the long haul. It will host diving, water polo and artistic swimming.
So what goes into these kids of buildings, both from a planning, design and structural setting?
