Annie Lazor sent shock waves throughout the swim community, as she went out in an impressive 1:08.87 in the 200 breast final at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Bloomington. She showed no signs of slowing, as she crashed the pad and immediately turned to the scoreboard, met by a 2:20.77 staring back at her. Not only was this a personal best, but also the fastest time in the world this year.

It was Emily Escobedo who took second, clocking in at 2:24.51 to edge out Lilly King (2:24.60). Melissa Rodriguez was in the mix, as her 2:28.85 was good enough to land her fourth place ahead of Laura Morley (2:30.29). Noelle Peplowski claimed sixth by a wide margin, dropping a 2:31.83 to take down Allie Szekely (2:33.38). Morgan Friesen (2:33.55) lowered her time from this morning to put showcase some outside smoke in the outer lane.
