Andrew Marsh posted a lifetime best 46.58 in the 100 yard backstroke at the AT&T Winter Nationals to finish fifth place overall. He also had strong showings in the 100 yard butterfly and 100 yard freestyle. Marsh said he was happy with his performance overall but knows he has a lot of room to improve before NCAA championships. He also says that under waters are key to pulling off the difficult 100 Fly / 100 Back double when the events are on the same day.
Marsh is a Junior for the Mountaineers and made finals in the 100 fly and 100 back at the 2014 Big 12 Championships, placing seventh in both with season-best times of 48.50 and 48.62, respectively.
