Aggies Earn Another In-State Verbal from Texas 6A Bronze Medallist Noah Beladi
NEW COMMIT: Colleyville, Texas native Noah Beladi has opted to stay in the Lone Star State for his college career after verbally committing to Texas A&M University.
He is the Aggies’ sixth verbal pledge for their Class of 2025, and all of them hail from Texas: Clayton Conklin, Seth Reno, Trey Dickey, Munzy Kabbara and Tyler Hulet will join Beladi in College Station.
Regarding his commitment, he said:
“I am excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and swimming career at Texas A&M University in the fall of 2021. Thank you to my family, friends, teammates, and coaches for the support throughout my journey. Looking forward to my future as an AGGIE! Gig’Em!”
Beladi, who owns the U.S. Open cuts in both breaststroke events, swims year-round with Lakeside Aquatic Club and most recently took ninth in the 100 and 200 breast at College Station Sectionals. He finished 19th in the 200 breast at Juniors West in December and took 10th in that event at Austin Sectionals last summer.
His best times include:
- 100 breast – 55.08
- 200 breast – 2:00.46
- 200 IM – 1:51.07
- 400 IM – 4:01.54
Also competing for Keller High School, Beladi is a three-time UIL Texas 6A State Championship finalist. He earned bronze in the 100 breast and placed 10th in the 200 IM as a junior while taking 12th in the former event during his sophomore season.
Under head coach Jay Holmes, Texas A&M finished second overall in the team standings at the 2020 SEC Championships.
