After Reinstating Program, Dartmouth Earns First 2022 Verbal From Adam Ladman
NEW COMMIT: Carlsbad, Calif. native Adam Ladman will head to the East Coast for his college career after verbally committing* to Dartmouth College.
In January, the Big Green agreed to reinstate the program that it originally cut in July 2020.
He told Swimming World:
“I am extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to the admissions process at Dartmouth to continue my academic and athletic careers! I want to thank my family, friends, and coaches for their endless support, I wouldn’t be here without them. So grateful for this amazing opportunity. Go Big Green!!?”
A Junior National qualifier, Ladman does his club swimming with Coronado-Navy Swim Association and earned a best time at St. George Sectionals back in March. In August 2019, he earned 100% lifetime bests at Mount Hood Futures where he finaled in the 200m free.
His best times include:
- 100 free – 45.92
- 200 free – 1:38.82
- 100 back – 53.26
- 200 back – 1:55.90
- 100 fly – 51.37
A rising senior at San Marcos High School, Ladman recently had a strong showing at the CIF San Diego Section DI Championships.
