Addison Carlile To Join Iowa’s Class Of 2030
NEW COMMIT: Junior National qualifier Addison Carlile of Newburgh, Indiana, has announced her verbal commitment to the University of Iowa beginning in Fall 2026.
She told Swimming World:
“I’m super excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Iowa! Thanks to everyone who has supported me and believed in me and thanks to coach Mundt for giving me this amazing opportunity. GO HAWKS!!”
A versatile swimmer, Carlile does her club swimming with Win Tidal Wave and she last competed at Juniors East. This past summer, she finaled in five events at Huntsville Futures.
Her best times include:
- 50 free – 23.52
- 100 free – 51.09
- 200 free – 1:49.55
- 100 fly – 55.11
- 100 back – 58.07
- 200 IM – 2:05.89
- 400 IM – 4:27.59
Currently a junior at Castle High School, Carlile placed sixth in the 200 free and eighth in the 100 fly at the 2024 Indiana State Championships. She took 10th in the 50 free and 14th in the 100 fly during her freshman season.
