5 Uses For Your Swim Cap

Universally, swim caps are known to keep the hair out of your face, but they are capable of so much more.
5 Uses For A Swim Cap
1. Swim Cap Trick
There’s the ordinary, unexciting way to put on a swim cap, and then there’s the cool way. One day, a bored swimmer decided to fill up his cap with water and drop it on his friend’s head to see what would happen. He figured out the amazing swim cap trick. Turns out, if you drop a cap full of water on someone’s head at the right angle, it will suction perfectly to their head.
We all know that swim caps are very flexible. They can stretch to be far bigger than necessary. Big enough to fit a few swimmers even! The world record for how many people can fit inside a swim cap is only two people. Can your team top that?
If you poke a few holes in a swim cap, you can create a mini water fountain for multiple swimmers when the cap is full of water. It’s only useful if you’re willing to drink the pool water though, and that’s something I may not want to risk.
If you fill a swim cap with air, it has the potential to be a great whoopee cushion. Keeping the air in the cap is a problem, so this trick doesn’t have a very high success rate. It has been done before though. If you can pull it off, props to you!
5. Musical Instrument
A swim cap can make all sorts of fun noises just from shifting it around, creating friction and squirting water and air from of it. You have to experiment to find out what works best, but there are endless possibilities. You and your swim team can form a band!
