(Video Interview) DiRado Qualifies for Second Individual Event For Rio

Maya DiRado qualified for her second individual swim in Rio by winning the women’s 200 IM. She stopped the clock in 2:09.54, the third best time in the world this year.
DiRado held the top times in both prelims and semifinals as well, dropping time in all three of her races. She swept both IM events in Omaha after winning the 400 IM in 4:33.73 to earn her first Olympic berth.
She told the media after her race that she’s pleased with her time but thinks it can be a lot better.
