Stanford has dominated the 200 fly with 12 titles, eight ahead of the next highest school. Stanford’s Ella Eastin has the fastest swim in history at 1:49.51, set at the 2018 Pac-12 Championships. That beat Stanford’s Elaine Breeden, who held the record for nearly a decade at 1:49.92. USC’s Louise Hansson won the event in 2018 after Eastin won back-to-back titles. Breeden won three in the event, while Mary DeScenza and Mary T. Meager each won four.
Michigan junior Olivia Carter took the top seed in the 200 fly in 1:53.19in what looks to be an extremely close race ahead.
Texas A&M senior Taylor Pike took the second seed in 1:53.32, followed by Texas sophomore Kelly Pash (1:53.38), Georgia junior Dakota Luther (1:53.43), and Teas freshmen Emma Sticklen (1:53.56) and Olivia Bray (1:5383).
