2019 SEC Championships Day 2 Prelims: Pickrem Scratches 400 IM
The second full morning of the 2019 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships featured heats of the 400 IM, 100 fly and 200 free at Georgia.
Defending champion Sydney Pickrem of Texas A&M did not swim the 400 IM because of an unknown medical issue.
According to school officials, Pickrem “went down on deck” after the 200 IM final on Wednesday and received a medical scratch, so could still swim two more individual events, although her return remains in question.
