The Thursday night finals session at the 2019 men’s NCAA swimming championships in Austin, Texas, will begin at 6 p.m. ET. Texas currently has the lead in the team race, but a massive morning from Cal saw the Bears finish with the top seed in two individual events, the second seed in the other individual event and the top seed in the 200 free relay.
Individiually, Texas’ Townley Haas had the top time in the 500 free, a tenth ahead of Cal’s Sean Grieshop, while Cal’s Andrew Seliskar swam an impressive 1:39.90 in the 200 IM in prelims. Golden Bears Ryan Hoffer and Pawel Sendyk qualified first and second, respectively, in the 50 free.
Indiana will be the top seed in the final swimming event of the evening, the 400 medley relay. Full heat sheets for the session are available below.
