The 2019 men’s NCAA swimming championships will kick off at 6 p.m. CT in Austin, Texas, with timed finals heats of the 800 free relay. The Florida Gators, led by Khader Baqlah and Maxime Rooney, will be the top seed, with the Andrew Seliskar-led California Golden Bears seeded second. Indiana, Missouri and Texas round out the top five seeds.

North Carolina State, the two-time defending 800 free relay national champions, is actually seeded 13th, so the Wolfpack will appear in the second of three heats.

Be sure to check back for full coverage during and after this evening’s races. The meet will begin a full slate of events Thursday, with prelims scheduled for 10 a.m. CT and finals at 6 p.m. CT.
