Taking fourth was Mikka Sheridan with a time of 1:57.96 with Madison Wilson snatching fifth in 1:58.48. Rounding out the Aussie selection team will be Carla Buchanan by virtue of her 1:58.86.

Emily Seebohm fell off her prelims time of 58.90 to post a 59.15 this evening while 22-year old Hayley Baker touched second in the only other sub-1:00 time of 59.95. Kaylee McKeown touched third for bronze in a 1:00.09.
