Day three of the 2017 Big 12 Championships saw Texas Longhorn senior, Tasija Karosas, complete a four-peat of the women’s 100 back in a new Big 12 Conference and Championship meet record time.
Joseph Schooling, also of Texas, took down the Big 12 Championship record with a 44.06, just missing his Conference record of 44.01. Schooling’s time stands as the third fastest in history.
West Virginia’s Jake Armstrong became the first man or woman of the meet to claim gold in an event, winning the men’s 100 breast.
