2016 NCAA Division II Nationals: Day 2 Finals Live Recap
It was another fast night at the 2016 NCAA Division II National Championships.
To begin the evening session, the Tampa men’s 200 free relay team rebroke their own record from this morning. In the first individual race, Queens’ Patricia Castro Ortega set yet another DII record, this time in the women’s 400 IM. Queens’ Dion Dreesens crushed his own DII record in the men’s 200 free, and Wingate demolished the women’s 400 medley relay record.
The Queens women maintain their lead over Wingate and UC-San Diego. The Queens men also kept their lead, but Lindenwood isn’t too far behind.
