Women’s 100 back
A pair of swimmers cleared the FINA A cut of 1:00.25 in the women’s 100-meter back at the 2016 British Nationals with Georgia Davies taking the top time.
Davies won the 100 back in a time of 59.64, moving up to eighth overall in the event. Elizabeth Simmonds snatched the second spot with a 1:00.20, just under the FINA A cut as well.
Jessica Fullalove (1:00.65), Lauren Quigley (1:01.00), Kathleen Dawson (1:01.12), Brittany Horton (1:01.74), Anna Maine (1:01.95) and Kirsty Simpson (1:02.06) also competed in the finale.

Men’s 200 fly
Adam Mallett checked in with the top time of the men’s 200-meter fly in 1:58.02. That’s well off the FINA A cut of 1:56.97, but ahead of the FINA B cut of 2:01.06.
Mark Szaranek finished second overall in a time of 1:58.20 with Jay Lelliott taking third overall in 1:58.32. Cameron Brodie also cleared 1:59 with a fourth-place time of 1:58.98.
Michael Gunning (1:59.31), Matthew Johnson (1:59.94), Luke Howdle (2:00.22) and Sam Horrocks (2:01.66) claimed fifth through eighth.

Women’s 200 breast
Chloe Tutton chased down the FINA A cut in the women’s 200-meter breast with a 2:22.34 for the win at the 2016 British Nationals.
That swim pushed Tutton up to fourth in the world behind only Rie Kaneto (2:19.65), Yuliya Efimova (2:21.41) and Taylor McKeown (2:21.45).
The time also crushed the British record of 2:23.82 set by Molly Renshaw back at the 2014 European Championships.
Renshaw raced her way to second with a FINA A cut time of 2:23.56, moving up to eighth in the world in the process.
Georgia Coates (2:27.10), Layla Black (2:28.26), Hannah Miley (2:28.38), Jocelyn Ulyett (2:28.40), Katie Matts (2:28.54) and Olivia White (2:30.46) closed out the finale.

Men’s 100 back
Chris Walker-Hebborn chased down the top time in the men’s 100-meter back at the 2016 British Nationals.
Walker-Hebborn won the finale in a time of 53.73, clearing the FINA A cut time of 54.36.
Liam Tancock put himself in line for a third Olympics with a 54.20 for second, also a FINA A cut.
Xavier Mohammed (54.47), Joseph Patching (54.98), Charlie Boldison (55.24), Joseph Hulme (55.47), Marco Loughran (55.47) and John Blyzinskyj (55.62) finished third through eighth.
