The 2000 USMS Short Course Nationals will not be held in Phoenix, Arizona, as voted at last year’s convention. According to Rich Bonney, executive director of the Phoenix Swim Club, due to a ruling by the Phoenix Zoning Commission, the club will not be permitted to hold meets involving more than 600 participants.
The Nationals will likely be moved to Indianapolis. Tentative dates for the meet are April 27-30, 2000.
