Ranomi Kromowidjojo (NED) sets a new Olympic record to claim the gold medal in the women's 50m freestyle in the Aquatics Centre at the London 2012 Olympic Games (4 August). Aliaksandra Herasimenia (BLR) won silver in the event with Marleen Veldhuis (NED) winning bronze.
