Viktoria Zeynep Gunes on Fire With 100 Breast Victory at 2015 FINA World Junior Championships
Turkey’s Viktoria Zeynep Gunes continued to be one of the top swimmers at the meet with a convincing win in the women’s 100-meter breast at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.
Gunes, who nearly took down Ruta Meilutyte’s vaunted meet record of 1:06.61 from 2013, won the finale in 1:06.77.
Meet organizers definitely understood just how successful Gunes has been this week as they immediately played Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys after her win.
