As they have done after every finals session so far, Swimming World’s David Rieder and SwimVortex’s John Lohn again looked back on the finals races held on day seven. The pair discussed the conclusion of Maya DiRado’s excellent week, Michael Phelps’ third win of the Trials, Katie Ledecky’s dominant yet seemingly routine 800 free and Nathan Adrian’s close win in the men’s splash-and-dash.
Rieder and Lohn also shared their thoughts on the likes of Missy Franklin, Leah Smith, Tom Shields, Madison Kennedy, Abbey Weitzeil and Connor Jaeger and briefly discussed Cate Campbell’s overnight world record in the 100 free.
