Today, Bob Bowman was announced as the new head swimming coach at Arizona State during a press conference that took place at Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz.
During the press conference, Athletics Director Ray Anderson talked about shooting for the moon by going after someone world-renowned like Bowman.
Bowman and Anderson talk about the vision that they both have to make Arizona State a world-class program and one of the elites in the nation.
Bowman also confirmed that Michael Phelps will follow him to Tempe.
Additionally, Anderson and Bowman both spoke about their thoughts about implementing a nationally-prominent learn to swim program under the USA Swimming Foundation Make a Splash initiative.
