Actually this is the second time Lobanov has broken the NCAA DII record as he took down Hetland’s standard w/his 52 flat the Sunshine State Conference Championships February 20 in Orlando.

His pr lcm is 1:00.08 from way back in December of 2K9 a meet in Qatar called the Doha Gymnisiade.

He represented Russia the following summer Helsinki (Euro Jr. Championships) where he went a 1:00.34. His best last season was a 1:01.34 in the semis the Russian Euro. Championships Trials. Be interesting to see how he fares Russia’s World Championships Trials meet this spring. Perhaps the confidence he gains from winning here will help put him on the team for Kazan.

Best looking stroke I’ve seen in a while. Amirite Luke Ekhoff, Nathan Burdick, Justin Babitsky?!
