ENCINITAS, Calif., Feb. 11. LYNNE Cox is among the best ocean swimmers of our time. Science doesn't fully understand it, but she survives — even thrives — in water that's cold enough to kill in just a few minutes.
Recently, SwimInfo reported on Lynne's incredible 1900 meter (1.2-mile) swim in 25 minutes in a bone-chilling 33 degrees Fahrenheit.
Now, the CBS show "60 MINUTES II" will air its coverage of Lynne swimming to Antarctica.
Don't miss watching this superhuman feat!
The specifics: CBS, Wednesday, February 12, at 9 p.m. ET/PT
