J.R. Rosania Hired By Nelson Vargas Aquatica as Dryland Expert Consultant
GUADALAJARA, Mexico, July 17. RECENTLY, Swimming World’s resident dryland expert J.R. Rosania was hired by the massive Nelson Vargas Aquatica (NVA) as its dryland expert consultant in Mexico.
Rosania will be responsible for building a comprehensive dryland program for the school’s swimmers and coaches in Mexico. That’s more than 800 people overall, who will benefit tremendously from the expert knowledge that appears every single month in Swimming World Magazine.
“I am excited to announce I have been contracted by Mexico’s Nelson Vargas Aquatica swimming as their official dryland expert,” Rosania told Swimming World. “During the next year, I will develop a world-class dryland program for Aquatica and its hundreds of swimmers and coaches. Our goal is to bring the type of dryland training to Aquatica that helps produce world-class international swimmers for the country of Mexico.”
NVA was founded by the Hall of Famer Nelson Vargas. Vargas, a former national swimming team coach of Mexico who also served as the President of the Mexican Swimming Federation back in the 80s, began building private swimming school and family fitness centers in 1972 which later became housed under the Nelson Vargas Aquatica brand.
