The Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong has announced a seven swimmer roster for the Rio Olympic Games.
The team’s six women are Stephanie Au, Camille Cheng, Siobhan Haughey, Yvette Kong and Claudia Lau and Hang Yu Sze.
Au, a former Cal bear, will be swimming in her third Games.
Cheng, a 2015 Cal graduate, was a 2014 PanPacs finalist in the 100 freestyle and a 2014 Asian Games relay bronze medalist. Haughey was also a member of those Asian Games bronze medal winning relays. In 2013, she was the World Junior champion in the 100 freestyle.
At the London Games in 2012 Sze finished 20th in the 200 freestyle.
Geoffrey Cheah will be the lone male. Cheah, a Stanford grad, was the first Hong Kong man under 50 seconds in the 100 freestyle.
