David Cleason Gives Verbal Commitment to Join Sister Emma at Michigan
NEW COMMIT: The University of Michigan has attracted local talent David Cleason to the Wolverines. Cleason, a rising senior at Ann Arbor’s Skyline High School, gave his verbal commitment to Michigan. Swimming for Michigan is about to become a family affair as his sister Emma will soon enter her freshman season.
Cleason said on Twitter,
“So excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Michigan. Go blue!!”
Cleason swims for Club Wolverine. He is a fairly versatile swimmer. His best times are:
- 200 Fly 1:52.92
- 200 IM 1:50.18
- 200 Back 1:53.22
- 500 Free 4:34.09
At the 2017 Michigan Boys Division 1 High School state championships Cleason touched second in the 200 IM (1:50.18) and also grabbed a silver in the 500 freestyle (4:34.09), posting best times in both.
Will Chan has also give his verbal commitment to Michigan’s Class of 2022.
