Russia’s Daniil Pakhomov clipped his own meet record in the men’s 100-meter fly finals at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.

Pakhomov checked in with a top time of 52.28 for the win, just off his season-best time of 52.13 from the European Junior Championships in Baku.

That swim downed Pakhomov’s meet record of 52.40 set yesterday.

With USA’s Michael Andrew missing finals due to a daunting schedule yesterday, Pakhomov was the clear favorite tonight.
