Colleen Bull To Join Defending Big Ten Champions Indiana In 2025

NEW COMMIT: Junior National qualifier Colleen Bull of Hillsborough, New Jersey, has announced her verbal commitment to Indiana University beginning in Fall 2025.

She will join Luci Gutierrez in Bloomington as a member of the Hoosiers’ Class of 2029.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“Indiana University has a great team and coaching staff, as well as a great business school. Overall, the school was the perfect fit and it felt like home.”

Bull does her club swimming with Greater Somerset County YMCA, which won the YMCA Short Course National Championship in April 2023. There, Bull raced to sixth in the 200 free and 17th in the 500 free. She was also a member of the winning 4×50 and 4×200 free relays.

Her best times include:

  • 50 free – 23.87
  • 100 free – 50.96
  • 200 free – 1:48.95
  • 500/400 free – 5:00.03
  • 100 fly – 56.37

Currently a junior at Immaculata High School, Bull is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American. She placed third in the 100 free and fourth in the 200 free at the 2024 New Jersey Meet of Champions. She also finished fourth in the 200 free during her sophomore season.

The Hoosiers are the defending Big Ten champions, having beaten Ohio State by a half-point this past season.
