Cavaliers Add Another, Keeping Virginia Record Holder Caroline Kulp In-State
NEW COMMIT: The University of Virginia is continuing to roll through the recruiting trail for the high school class of 2019, adding more in-state talent this go around, picking up a verbal commitment from Roanoke’s Caroline Kulp.
Kulp swims for the Virginia Gators where she is a multiple time National Age Group record holder. Last spring at the 2017 Dolfin ISCA Junior Championships the Gators went on a relay run, taking down the 200 and 400 medley and 200 freestyle relay records for the 15-16 age group. Kulp was the team’s breaststroker on the 200 medley (28.86).

- 500 Free 4:43.95
- 1000 Free 9:47.72
- 1650 Free 16:24.45
- 200 IM 2:00.84
- 200 Fly 1:58.10
A junior at Patrick Henry High School, Kulp is a six time individual Virginia 5A state champion, winning the 200 and 500 freestyle all three years. She holds the state record in both events as well.
