Canada swept the gold medals on offer in synchronized swimming at the 2015 Pan American Games with a victory in the team finals.
Shortly after the duo of Jacqueline Simoneau and Karine Thomas won the duet finals with 90 points, Canada blasted the team finals with 178.1094 points.
Gabriella Brisson, Annabelle Frappier, Claudia Holzner, Lisa Mikelberg, Marie-Lou Morin, Samantha Nealon, Simoneau and Thomas were part of that victory.
Mexico’s Karem Achach, Karla Arreola, Isabel Delgado, Nuria Diosdado, Evelyn Guajardo, Joana Jimenez, Samantha Rodriguez and Jessica Sobrino took silver with 172.5073 points.
USA’s Anita Alvarez, Claire Barton, Mary Killman, Mariya Koroleva, Sandra Ortellado, Sarah Rodriguez, Karensa Tjoa and Alison Williams grabbed bronze with 166.0351 points.
