Aggies Get Verbal Commit From Texan Coco Bratanov

NEW COMMIT: Texas A&M has received a verbal commitment from versatile in-state swimmer Coco Bratanov. Bratanov is a senior at Katy High School and swims for Katy Aquatic Team for Youth.

Bratanov’s best times include:

50 Free 20.43
100 Free 44.90
200 IM 1:50.50
400 IM 3:59.33
200 Breast 2:04.52

At last year’s Texas 6A state championship Bratanov finished third in the 100 freestyle. He also swam that event at Winter Juniors along with the 50 free, 100 breaststroke, and 200 IM.

Next year he’ll be joined in College Station by Shaine Casas, Clayton Bobo, Ethan Gogulski, and Peter Simmons.
