Calum Jarvis stopped the clock over a half second faster than anybody else this morning, taking the top seed in 1:48.21. Nicholas Grainger joined him under 1:49 with a 1:48.85. Zane Grotehr took the third spot in 1:49.08.
Also under 1:50 were Alexander Graham (1:49.39), Liam Egan (1:49.82), and Mchael Weiss (1:49.95). Maxime Rooney (1:50.15) and Joshua Fleagle (1:50.29) also secured lanes in tonight’s A final.

Andrew Wilson destroyed the competition this morning. Wilson was the only swimmer under a minute, touching in 59.58. That time would have finished third at finals of Olympic Trials. In that final, Wilson touched fifth in 59.97.
Michael Andrew touched second today with a 1:01.03. Conor McHugh was third in 1:01.25.
