Jessica Hardy scratched 11th-seeded 25.87 to move Ellen Thomas into B final
Men’s 200 breast
Top-seed Thiago Pereira scratched his 2:14.58 to move Richard Funk into the A final and Trevor Hoyt into the B final.

Eugene Godsoe scratched his sixth-seeded 24.24 with Ryan Lochte scratching his ninth-seeded 24.35. Albert Subirats moves to the A final with Miguel Ortiz and Simonas Bilis both moving up to the B final.
Women’s 400 free
Allison Schmitt scratched fifth-ranked 4:12.31, Patricia Castro Ortega scratched ninth-seeded 4:15.91 to move Emily Overholt into A final and Madison Homovich and Emma Nordin into B final.
