Ryan Lochte, Conor Dwyer and Gator Men Tackle Pararescue Training
BREVARD COUNTY, Florida, January 4. RYAN Lochte, Conor Dwyer and the University of Florida men's team tested themselves this morning against the strength and endurance of members of the Elite Special Forces at the Patrick Air Force Base.
The 920th Rescue Wing ran the Gator men through a morning of pararescue indoctrination training, which included running, group strength work, CrossFit exercises and swimming. The ultimate goal was to build team unity.
Take a look at the raw footage of Lochte and his Gator teammates doing group circle push-ups and running along the beach:
“Coming to this, I knew it was going to be hard,” Lochte told Florida Today during a break in the workout. “It's teamwork. I'm used to a lot of the stuff, but some of it is new.”
After the intense morning, Lochte took to Twitter to express the physical pain of the workout:
That was officially my hardest work out i have ever done. Thank u @usairforce #nopain
