NATANIA, Israel, August 6. A day after a trio of Israeli records fell, one more took a tumble at the country's summer nationals taking place at the Wingate Institute.
Yulia Banech became the first Israeli woman under 2:30 in the women's 200 breast with a swift 2:29.03. That performance broke the 2:30.17 set by Anastasia Korotkov set at the World Championships in Rome last week.
Other notable times includes a 24.92 in the 50 back from Guy Barnea and a 49.49 from Nimrod Shapira Bar-Or in the 100 free. Tom Beeri also posted a 2:14.51 in the 200 breast.
