Lois Kivi Nochman Lowers Two More FINA Masters World Records
LOUISVILLE, Kentucky, July 31. THIS past weekend at the 33rd Annual Lakeside Masters Summer Long Course Invitational held at the Lakeside Club in Louisville, Ky., Lois Kivi Nochman bettered her 10th and 11th FINA Masters world records of the year.
Swimming in the 85-89 age division, Nochman posted a time of 2:25.56 in the women's 100 fly and that time broke the world record of 2:39.23 set by Jean Durston back in 2000.
In the 200 fly, Nochman posted a time of 5:07.64, and that time broke the world record of 5:49.75 set by Durston back in 1999.
For the year, Nochman has swum to 11 FINA Masters world records, and has a career total of 53 FINA Master world records and 99 U.S. Masters Swimming national records.
