Gary Hall Jr. Welcomes Son Charles to World
ISLAMORADA, Florida, December 13. THIS weekend on Dec. 10, multiple Olympian Gary Hall Jr. and his wife Elizabeth welcomed Charles Jameson Hall to the world. Their new son weighed in at 8 pounds and 9 ounces according to Hall's agent David Arluck in a phone conversation with Swimming World.
Charles will join older sister Gigi as the family adjusts from being three deep to four.
It should be noted that Charles is a family name from the Keating side of Gary Hall's heritage. His grandfather, Charlie Keating, Jr. was a former swimmer from Xavier High School (Class of 1941) and the 1946 NCAA 200 yard butterfly champion representing the University of Cincinnati. He was a generous benefactor to the swimming community as a financier for the Keating Natatorium in Cincinnati and the internationally recognized Phoenix Swim Club in Arizona which is now defunct.
His uncle, Charlie Keating, III (C3), swam for Indiana University and represented the United States in the 1976 Olympics.
Swimming World sends its congratulations to Hall, his wife and his growing family!
