LOS ANGELES, California, October 18. WORLD Championship Sports Network (WCSN) will provide FREE same-day delay coverage for the 2007 FINA World Cup, beginning on October 19 in Durban, South Africa. Fans can log on to www.WCSN.com and watch all the action of the short-course seven-stop series spanning five continents.
John Naber, a former swimmer and winner of four gold medals and one silver medal at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, will cover the series for WCSN. One of America's most successful champions in the sport, Naber has also worked in television for more than 25 years, covering more than 35 different sports and eight Olympic Games.
With a total of $360,000 distributed to the winners and an additional $50,000 reserved for world record breakers, the FINA World Cup series will offer intense competition among the world's most elite swimmers. Three-time world record champion Kate Ziegler, will be one of the leading Americans entered in the race along with appearances from swimming greats Natalie Coughlin and Randall Bal.
