Flash! Therese Alshammar Shoots Down 50 Fly LCM World Record in Barcelona

BARCELONA, Spain, June 13. ACCORDING to reports out of the Mare Nostrum series, Therese Alshammar of Sweden took down the women's 50 LCM fly world record with a time of 25.46 before coming back to win the 50 free 15 minutes later.

That effort erased the 25.57 set by Anna-Karin Kammerling of Sweden set on July 30, 2002 in Berlin Germany.
