Swim Ireland Still Seeking Performance Consultant

DUBLIN, Ireland, September 25. TERRY Denison has been selected as the interim performance consultant for Ireland until the nation’s governing body, Swim Ireland, can find a permanent replacement for the position. This move was reported by Craig Lord of The London Times. Barry Prime was expected to handle the position back in April, but Prime changed his mind and is coaching in Australia.

Denison is the former coach of Adrian Moorhouse, the 1988 Olympic champ in the 100-meter breaststroke. Denison will lead the Irish club at the European Short Course Championships in December. Sarah Keane, the Chief Executive Director of Swim Ireland, indicated that the organization is taking its time in selecting its next performance consultant.
